Our History

Incorporated in August 1959 under the name Furnasman Metal LTD., the company was dedicated to Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) sheet metal production.

Furnasman Metal Ltd. supplied the ductwork systems required by Furnasman Heating Limited (a local furnace manufacturer) in Winnipeg as well as for a network of private heating companies from Thunder Bay, Ontario through to Victoria, B.C. Furnasman Metal Ltd. produced a full line of sheet metal products to complete all residential forced air systems.

These packages were shipping east and west along with the furnaces made under the Furnasman name.

In 1971 the company's name was changed to Metal-Pac Manufacturing Limited. Metal-Pac products are now sold through heating wholesale distribution centers servicing northwestern Ontario all the way to Victoria B.C.

Metal-Pac Mfg. remains dedicated to the quality and service of its residential galvanized product. Metal-Pac also produces ULC certified type B gas vent and aluminum vent liners, spiral pipe, commercial gauge HVAC products and custom fabricated products.

Since the company's inception in 1959 it has remained locally owned and operated in south Winnipeg.

The present facility, both manufacturing and distribution, is located at 1577 Seel Ave., Winnipeg.
